The Merlewood is a family owned hotel located about 1/2 mile north of the town centre, just a short walk from the northern promenade, beach and Suncastle bowling greens. ONE OF THE CLOSEST HOTELS TO BUTLINS. The accommodation comprises 9 letting bedrooms, ALL OF WHICH ARE EN-SUITE. We also have one ground floor bedroom that is very popular with less able visitors. WE HAVE 3 STARS FOR OUR ACCOMMODATION AWARDED BY BRITISH TOURISM AND AN "EXCELLENT 3 STARS" FOR OUR HYGIENE AWARDED BY EAST LINDSEY DISTRICT COUNCIL.

All our rooms have towels,soap and hairdyers, electronic alarm clocks, remote control colour t.v., tea and coffee making facilities and a welcome toiletries pack.

We no longer have a licenced bar due to new legislation but you may wish to have a game of darts cards or dominoes of an evening, or for those who just wish to relax, enjoy a quiet coffee in our comfortable resident's lounge. You may bring your own wine or beer to enjoy with your evening meal. All bedrooms are non smoking, but you may smoke in the lounge area. Our dining room is very welcoming and we are sure that you will enjoy our varied menu.

Our competitive 2007 prices range from £25.00 per person including breakfast with a good choice of menu.
Evening meals are optional throughout the summer months.
We are open throughout the whole year and offer exciting packages for Christmas and New Year breaks.Please enquire for latest information. We are a biker friendly hotel and offer secure parking for your motorbike.
